The Logan Community Visitors Scheme aims to place volunteers in the areas of Logan and the surrounding areas. There is never enough volunteers to meet the social needs of Logan's aged community. (However, if you are interested in volunteering in a different area of Australia, please contact us and we will try to put you in touch with the relevant organisation.)

Volunteers who would like to make a difference in the life of a socially isolated resident are asked to provide a minimum of one hour per fortnight, split up at the volunteer's discretion. Depending on the volunteer, the resident and the aged care home's policies, this time can be spent talking, sitting in the sun, playing cards or board games... whatever two friends might do.
